great quote - my new perspective on life

A friend sent this to me. Came from her friend. Have no idea where it originated, but I love it. If you know who wrote this, please let me know. Good to be back in blogland again.

"LIFE IS NOT A JOURNEY TO THE GRAVE WITH THE INTENTION OF ARRIVING SAFELY IN A PRETTY AND WELL PRESERVED BODY, BUT RATHER TO SKID IN BROADSIDE, THOROUGHLY USED UP, TOTALLY WORN OUT, AND LOUDLY PROCLAIMING, WOW! WHAT A RIDE!!!"

I'll have what she's having!

grace,

lisa

If you get a chance, check out the very last pages of the book "Love, Erma"--Erma Bombeck's last book. Her husband writes a fabulous piece about what it was like living with Erma, and compares it to a ride at an amusement park. The quote here is similar in spirit to what he writes.

Veteran's Day is November 11th and I hope that EVERY American will be flying the flag in honor of our troops fighting in Iraq and around the world to preserve our freedoms!

I can even tell you where to get one for free! Visit AmericanFlags.com right now and they'll send you a FREE American Flag. These flags were $19.99, but now they are FREE. You pay just for shipping/handling and they'll ship one to your door. (Actually - I've ordered more than 20 from them to give to my neighbors, as gifts, etc!)

Get your free flag now: **FREE AMERICAN FLAG**
